Course: Foundation- BCN 01

Designed for international professionals pursuing IBA / QBA or QASP-S certification, BCN- 01 is a 90-hour course aligned with the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA) for Qualified Behaviour Analyst (QBA)& Qualified Autism Services Practitioner - Supervisor (QASP-S), Course Competency, and International Behavior Analysis Organization (IBAO) Required Educational Objectives (REO) for International Behavior Analysts (IBA).
BCN-01 is the first and foundational course in the three-course BCN sequence, which comprises a total of 270 academic hours. Successful completion of BCN-01 fulfills 90 of the 270 academic hours within the BCN program and provides the foundational knowledge required for progression to BCN-02 and BCN-03.
BCN-01 provides a comprehensive foundation in professional ethics, the history and development of Applied Behavior Analysis, and the core concepts and principles of behavior analysis. Participants will develop an understanding of the foundations of ABA, how behavior-analytic principles guide ethical and effective practice, and how these principles can be applied across diverse settings and populations.
Before enrolling, participants are advised to review the current credentialing requirements for the QBA, QASP-S, and IBA certifications to ensure that they meet the applicable eligibility requirements.
